A couple's beautiful display of true love was recently met with a great deal of online hate.
When Mzznaki Tetteh, a nurse from Accra, Ghana, and her fiancé, Kojo Amoah took engagement photographs, they simply wanted to visually capture and celebrate their love.
Unfortunately, after Tetteh posted the photographs, she was met with harsh criticism from body shamers.

Despite the negativity that resulted from the photos, the body shaming ultimately sparked a flood of positive encouragement, and many people began reaching out to Tetteh via social media to offer their support.
When faced with the negative comments, Tetteh remained strong and confident, and did not let the haters stop celebrating her happiness. She even posted a photo of herself from the shoot with her hands on her hips, captioned, "Still confident...your rubbish comments ain't ruining my happiness...thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes...am honored."

The photographs and Tetteh's empowering response to her body shamers have inspired others, and she now has 27.3k Instagram followers.
Tetteh remains thankful for her supporters, and we hope she continues to inspire others by advocating for self-love and positive body image.
