Stevie -- a blind rescue cat -- just so happens to be an expert hiker.
On April 26, Stevie -- along with her human, Patrick Corr, and his twin brother, Eoghan -- decided to make a difference by climbing Ireland's highest mountain to raise money for local animal shelters.

Ever since, the two have wanted to "give back to the people who make it their life’s work to helping animals in need."

Corr, along with his brother and Stevie the cat decided to go on a sponsored hike up Carrauntoohil -- a 3,406-foot mountain in County Kerry, Ireland -- to raise money for local animal shelters in their area.
To further inspire others, Corr decided to record their journey and post it on YouTube to spread the message that though "sometimes life faces you with many obstacles and the way always isn't clear" we have to remember to "keep going" because "anything is possible."

In the video description, Corr explained that the trio set out on their journey after many months of planning and tons of support from family and friends. He wrote that they "took four cameras (including a Canon C100, Canon 700D, Polaroid Cube, Nikon Coolpix) with 6 bags of gear," and even ended up camping overnight after heavy fog obstructed their visibility.
Despite the obstacles, their trip was a success...
As a result of their hike, they ended up raising over €1,500 ($1,700) for animals in need, like Stevie.
